Orange County is home to many Iranians and no major University offered Persian language as an accredited foreign language course. ICCOC took the initiative to work with CSUF, and the University Advancement Foundation and set up an account for Persian Studies program. The first class under this program is Persian 101 and ICCOC funded the class. The class is open to all students with little or no background in Persian language.  Persian Studies program account is not limited to Persian language courses and can contribute to any area of research and study on Iran.

Growth, advancement and development of Persian Studies program depend on the Iranian community's donations and contributions. If you believe in preserving the Persian language for future generations, promoting the language of poetry to others, introducing the true culture of an old civilization, and are proud of the Iranian Heritage.
